Animal Sanctuaries

Animal sanctuaries are establishments that will look after and house animals for the rest of their lives, without necessarily attempting to find them any other home. Many of these establishments will take in animals that are not adoptable, such as Feral animals (unsocialized cats), wild animals, abused pets requiring special/unique care, or animals with medical/behavioral concerns that make adoption of pet difficult and possibly unrealistic. Do you think that animal sactuaries serve a good purpose? Why or why not? Also, how do you think animal sanctuaries get the money to provide and create these establishments?

I think that animal sanctuaties serve a good prupose because alot of these animals will be put down, go to the streets, or live in family that doesn’t give them any attention. Animal sanctuaries serve the exact purpose of giving a home to animals in need, and it is a very good. I believe that animal sanctuaries get the money to provide and create these establishments from donations and perhaps from the families that want their pets to live in the sanctuaries, there is probably a entrance fee.

I think animal sanctuaries are sometimes a good purpose depending on how well they take care of the animals. Some of them seem very cruel and it doesn’t look like they take care of the animals very well. I think the animal santuaries do fundraisers to get their money
